This miniature shows a mix of Sanderlings, Blackheaded Gulls, and Oystercatchers one freezing winter dawn on Elmer Beach, about 100 yards from my Mom's house. (Iwas brought up at the beach in West Sussex UK)

Well, I've finally taken the plunge and got a blog of my own. Poor Julia has been so patient, but I know that I have driven her crazy with my lack of computer skills. So here goes... Welcome to the inner bowels of my chaotic studio!! Here's a few new paintings...

Another lovely painting Matt, I especially like the lighting and the shapes of the different birds - very nice. I'm glad that you are back working on wildlife again and your Ibis and Great Egret pieces are stunning!
Great to hear from you Jeremy,
I am really enjoying painting birds again. I'm so pleased you like the new work. I can't get your misty landscape out of my head it really is beautiful.
