Ocean Majesty oil 24 x 48''

Another Ocean painting. I wanted to show the power of the wave as it crashes towards the beach. I chose to focus on the water rather than the birds in this painting.

Willet in surf oil 24 x 18

Marabou Stork in flight. 36 x 24'' oil

I painted this one a couple of times. The first was meticulously drawn out and looked stiff so I repainted it without drawing and it felt much better.

Peacock in Flight 36 x 60'' oil

Well It's taken a while, but finally I have finished my Peacock. It will become the center piece for my upcoming one man show at the Academy Art Museum in Easton. Now I have to frame the thing....Arghhhh!

"The Uninvited guests" 5 x 12 oil

Here's another Florida painting. I was sat on the beach enjoying the evening light when all of a sudden a bride and her entourage appeared. I loved the terns in the foreground Ignoring all the fuss.

Messy Studio!!

I really need to take a large shovel and clean out my Studio. All I can do is stand in the doorway. I even have a half barrel full of tropical fish with orchids overhanging the barrel. Paintings stacked everywhere, waiting to go off to shows. It has got to the point where I can no longer function.... Here's the proof!!

"Great Egret" 24 x 48 oil

I love evening light on waves breaking on the beach. I saw this down in Florida. It's not such a common sight to see Great Egrets on the foreshore. There is a bit more work to do but I thought I would post it while I had the camera handy. I haven't come up with a title yet.
