Here's a new painting. I haven't decided on a title yet.It shows a mum elephant and baby in the Chobe river Botswana. The startled birds are White faced whistling ducks.

Hello from a fellow Brit,

Loved your work since I saw some up close in the Mall Galleries in London some years ago and I was wondering if it is possible for you to take some photos of a 'work in progress'? This would be so interesting and informative for those of us who are hoping to improve our painting.

Meanwhile I will keep studing how you do your 'magic'

Best wishes, Lesley

Great to hear from you Johnny. Glad you like my painting. I wish I could think of a title!!

Lesley anne,
Thank you for saying nice things about my paintings. I will definately take some photos showing how I build up my paintings. ( though this usually means the kiss of death to the painting I'm showing in progress!!)

Hi Matt

Still have the owl print you signed and gave me for my birthday about 30 years ago!! Your work is still wonderful and its lovely to see you still working so hard. Memories of your freezer full of dead animals!
