Marvelous! You have managed to capture the waves breaking in a way that doesn't look like a hundred other paintings. I like the birds too.

Phew!! It's great to get such positive feedback just before the Waterfowl fest in Easton.... I always get very nervous about my centerpiece. This painting has been shown at various stages of completion. I used it at a recent marine workshop I taught, to demonstrate how to compose and begin a painting. Then used it as a demo at the Academy at an open night.
