Well, I've finally taken the plunge and got a blog of my own. Poor Julia has been so patient, but I know that I have driven her crazy with my lack of computer skills.
So here goes... Welcome to the inner bowels of my chaotic studio!! Here's a few new paintings...
Before I undertake a painting I do thumbnails in which I play around with Ideas, composition etc. They are so useful. I thought I would post a few from time to time.
Here are 2 of my triptic, Now I just have to paint the large guy in the middle carrying the goose head! They are painted on cradles. The large one will be 30 x 60 '' which means I will be making a large cradled board. Last time I tried this I had already finished the painting and got glue all over the poor painting!! what a dummy!!!
I spent almost a week watching a pair of eagles eating a goose on the Ice in front of my house. I thought it would be fun to do a series of 3 paintings showing the eagle with the goose. I have painted 2 of the 3 paintings.
