So how long did it take you to paint this? I wish I was in your class. All three of your new paintings are wonderful.
Hi John, I started the painting in class, I wanted to show how you can take different reference sources and put them together to create an Intersting composition. I also wanted to show how I build up the tonal painting before I add thicker paint. I got as far as painting the sky and blocking in the giraffe shape. The painting actually took the best part of the week. Thanks again for the compliment. I am glad you like the new paintings.
