I see this snag on my morning walk everyday. Often there is a heron perched on the snag. I have also seen kingfishers, egrets and eagles on the snag. I love it when the morning sunlight illuminates the branches.I have also Included the painting In It's early stage.

Matthew, what a wonderful collection of new posts, every painting a gem. The one of Paddy is particularly special but the whole bunch makes for a remarkable set.
Perfectly captures the area and light around where you live Matt, Actually makes me a little homesick and I don't even live there!
