I have been busy painting for our upcoming show at the Troika gallery in Easton. It's a mix of exotic wildlife and local landscapes with birds and boats. Here's my center piece. I hope you all like it!!

One of the best things about being artists is that we have some really great artist friends. Our friend Terry Miller gave us this beautiful drawing of our son. Paddy is sitting on the bridge in the village and he's in a mood. The heron was christened "Jimmy" by my mom. He's one of the regular visiters to this part of the creek.

Ah well, the end of the sailing season... It's a shame because the weather is mild and sunny and I bet the bay is beautiful today!!! At least I will be able to get on with some painting!!

Bay Sunset

Julia and I played hookie this afternoon. We took the sailboat out and watched the sunset.(this is one I painted earlier!!) The bay was so beautiful. The wind was constant, and we had it all to ourselves, except for the geese and a few eagles. I love it here!!
